More than 40 years of dedicated experience

In 1962, Rousseau invented the mechanical rotor mower. Then, in 1970, we devised the Castor, the first longer reach mower. We are still the leaders in our field and we incorporate the most appropriate technology into our equipment to match your requirements. We have developed the Mangouste range of bi-directional hydraulic mowers, the Fulgor range, designed for major projects, the Minautor range, the Spidor and many other models to match user requirements.

We always put quality first: having obtained ISO 9002 in 1999, Rousseau gained ISO 9001 certification the following year.

In 2002 Rousseau offered universal interactive control systems with Ergopilot and APS (Auto Pilot System).

In March 2004, Rousseau became part of the American Alamo group and is now world leader in its sector.
This was the impetus behind the new range of machines presented at the Paris International Agri-Business Show 2005:
Velthéa, Arthéa, Tinéa.
